Fiesta of White Cherry Blossoms (1 of 3) by Sumei Chew
Acrylic Art Print
$200.00 – $700.00
This work depicts delicate pretty white cherry blossoms against an exuberant backdrop of vibrant warm orange and red hues which is not usual the backdrop of any cherry blossoms. I have painted this unlikely relationship to intentionally create a statement that our will if resilient often triumph over circumstances.
I have contributed this 3-in-1 triptych piece because I feel it resonates with the work done at this ‘Little Bells’ orphanage at Nepal as the kids are bright and warm hearted; looking pretty and fragile; they are surprisingly resilient. Their parents and carers; the farmers there are also resilient; using their hard work and indomitable will to triumph over the tough circumstances
they face every day.
By investing in these pieces; a portion will be used to cover the costs and the rest of your financial contributions will be donated to help ‘Little Bells’ buy seeds and farming tools. As the artist; it is my hope these pieces will not only look great at your home but also bring you joy and happiness as your contribution will to the farmers and kids at ‘Little Bells’ of Nepal.
