ππΌ The Children at Humla ππΌ are needing help URGENTLYππΌ π₯
We received an appeal from a children’s home at Humla which is in a high altitude remote area without road access.
They are having difficulty sustaining meals and the children are not able to afford school.
It is run by Thinley Dorge Lama who supports them through his earnings and some donations. Dorge Lama teaches Buddhist meditation etc.
Little Bells (in partnership with Promises) will be helping to bring many of the children over to live at Little Bells. We will max out at 30 adding to the present 8 children at Little Bells.
In the meantime we have sent finances to sustain their meals as we process the transfer of children.
Here is the video clip of their thank you to us after receiving supplies for their meals.
In response to an appeal from a children’s home at Humla which is in a high altitude remote area without road access, we sent Jeet (Little Bells Country Project Manager) to visit them and work out transfer details.
He brought in more food to help them as they are having difficulty sustaining meals.
He met Thinley Dorge Lama who is helping the children with his family members as best they could.
We are working on getting the provincial officers to release these children to the care of Little Bells Promiseland Home. They are hesitant because of past incidents where children were taken and used for profit and human trafficking
In the meantime we will help to sustain their meals as we process the transfer of children.
ππΌ Thank you to those who have helped donate towards this need, it is critical help at a crucial timeππΌβΊ
We will need your help to sustain these children over the long term. Please consider helping. thank you ππΌ
