Description
Napahai is a wetland nature reserve that sits on the edge of the Tibetan Plateau. The weather is harsh, and temperature swings can be drastic. I made this image on a warm Winter’s afternoon, just as the sun was about to drop below the horizon. At altitude, everything seems extreme,
especially the weather and the light. Here, I love how the blazing orange of the reflected rays contrasts with cold blues of the lake water.
